I'm a... Libra?

New things: I quit my job. I no longer work for that bitch and I'm so proud of myself for pushing myself out of a rut -

And possibly into a new one: I now work for Just Us! Cafe, an organic, fair trade co-op that scores with ethical business practices. They buy local, there are no pesticides, nearly everything is biodegradable. They recycle, re-use, and compost. Everything is responsible and green and just plain old granola - which I love. This is the corporate hippie cafe and now I'm part of it.

Well, all that, and the people seem really relaxed and kind. I want this low-stress work environment that will allow me to pay bills (they're matching my salary and there's room for advancement), survive (I also get a health plan on top of other benefits), and work on my next solo exhibit, which I've already conceptualized. I've been conceptualizing it for years, really... It's about time I let this fucker out of my head.

I also had a full astrological profile done by my Aunt Nancy's friend, Blaine, who studies a Jyotish reading of the cosmos. In that discipline, I'm a Libra, my rising sign is Capricorn, and my moon is in Taurus. Oddly enough, the combo also makes incredible sense. But it was't his character reading that caught my attention, it was the detail in his predictions and his knowledge of recent events in my life that he gathered just from reading my stars. I want to share all of them here because they were nifty but I also have to run. Shaun's waiting at the Oxford theater with his best friend, Angi. We're all watching "Religulous", a comic take of the world's religions and their ridiculous views. I probably sound 'religulous' about astrology, but at this point in my life, it's guidance, it's what I need, and really now... it's not that different, it's just a little less serious, and certainly more fun.

Oh, and as a note to the last post: The three of us haven't moved in together. If it does happen, it won't be very soon. I'm still waiting to see what happens.
